王毅：中美合作從來都不是一方給另一方的恩賜，也不是一方對另一方的剝奪，中美雙方從合作中都獲得了巨大收益，不存在誰吃虧、誰占誰便宜的問題。

Wang Yi: China-U.S. cooperation has never been a case of one party giving favor to the other, or one party taking advantage of the other. Both countries have benefited much from this cooperation, and no one is being taken advantage of or being ripped off.

長期以來，中美兩國通過優(yōu)勢互補(bǔ)、互利合作，形成相互融合的利益共同體。

Mutually beneficial cooperation over the years have turned China and the U.S. into a community with shared interests. 

中國的快速發(fā)展既得益于同世界各國包括美國的開放合作，同樣，中國的不斷成長也反過來為美國等提供了持續(xù)增長的動力和巨大的市場空間。

China has achieved rapid growth in part thanks to its opening-up to and cooperation with the rest of the world, including the U.S., China's continued growth has also created sustained demand and an enormous market for the U.S. and other countries.

據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，中美經(jīng)貿(mào)關(guān)系支撐美國260萬個就業(yè)崗位，兩國貿(mào)易平均每年為每個美國家庭節(jié)省850美元的生活成本。

Statistics show that China-U.S. business ties support 2.6 million American jobs. Trade with China helps each American family save 850 U.S. dollars every year. 

美國企業(yè)在華投資興業(yè)累計(jì)已超過7萬家，年銷售額達(dá)7000億美元，其中97%都是盈利的。

Over 70,000 American businesses have made investments in China with a total sales volume of 700 billion U.S. dollars. Among them, 97 percent are making a profit. 

即使在中美貿(mào)易摩擦和新冠肺炎疫情影響下，絕大多數(shù)美國企業(yè)仍希望繼續(xù)留在中國，并且逆勢擴(kuò)大對華投資。

Even with the trade friction and COVID-19, the vast majority of American companies in China still want to stay and are doubling down on investment in China.

如果真像某些人所說，中美之間的合作是不公平、不對等的，這種狀況怎能持續(xù)幾十年之久？中美關(guān)系怎能發(fā)展到今天的這種深度和廣度？

If China-U.S. cooperation were unfair and not reciprocal, how could it have continued for several decades? How could China-U.S. ties have come such a long way?

全球化發(fā)展到今天，各國利益相互交織。

In the globalized world today, the interests of countries are closely intertwined. 

中方一向主張，中美兩國發(fā)展不是非此即彼的關(guān)系，沒有必要相互排斥，完全可以相互借力、相互成就。

The development of China and of the U.S. is not a zero-sum game, and we should not reject each other. 

當(dāng)前，世界經(jīng)濟(jì)正經(jīng)受疫情嚴(yán)重沖擊，中美作為世界上最大的兩個經(jīng)濟(jì)體，理應(yīng)堅(jiān)持平等互惠，以合作而不是脫鉤來推動兩國關(guān)系的發(fā)展，并為這個世界承擔(dān)起應(yīng)盡的責(zé)任。

What we should do is to draw on each other's strengths to achieve common development. As COVID-19 takes its toll on the global economy, China and the U.S., the world's two largest economies, should work for mutual benefits on an equal footing, stop attempts at decoupling and advance the relationship through cooperation, and live up to their responsibilities for the world.
